Drill-Down Tab

The Drill-Down tab lets you determine the way Process Navigator handles drill downs on an Activity or Deliverable:

  • The display of the double-click warning.
  • Automatic use of shadows to denote a drill-down.
  • The treatment of Orphans.
  • The naming method.

Mapping Options: Drill-Down tab

The Drill-Down options are:

  • Show Warning
Enables the warning that appears when you double-click on an Activity or Deliverable. It helps prevent accidental drill-down when an inexperienced user double-clicks a shape by mistake. More experienced users may want to disable this prompt.
  • Delete Orphans
By default, Process Navigator highlights orphan Deliverables (see Orphans) by colouring them red. Enabling this option forces Process Navigator to delete orphan Deliverables automatically when you drill down on an Activity.
  • Enable unconnected deliverable to be Orphans
Turning this option on forces Process Navigator to recognise Deliverables that are not connected to an Activity as potential Orphans.
  • Name the page the same as the Activity
Generally, a new Process Navigator page is named Map Page-1, Map Page-2, Map Page-3, etc. When this option is turned on, new pages are named after the corresponding Activity. For example, if the Activity was called "Produce Management Accounts" then on drill-down the page would also be named "Produce Management Accounts".
  • NOTE: this is not the name of the Node, which will always be that of the corresponding activity.

  • Automatically add shadow
This option adds a shadow to a shape when it has an associated drill-down.
